Res Agraria announces a new partnership with AGROLAB-TECH
AGROLAB has been engaged in the field of plant health and crop protection for over 35 years. Thanks to its experience and high level of expertise, AGROLAB-TECH specializes in the research, testing, and evaluation of new active substances for plant protection, with a particular focus on crops typical of the Mediterranean region.
The facility features a state-of-the-art laboratory for the bio-ethological study of pests and the execution of phytosanitary diagnoses on major crop adversities. AGROLAB-TECH operates as a peripheral station of the Res Agraria Assay Center, based in Tortoreto Lido (TE), conducting experimental trials in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice – Residue Trials) and GEP (Good Experimental Practice – Efficacy Trials) standards, including studies for the registration of new formulations. All activities are carried out in accordance with current regulations and the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), ensuring the quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of experimental data.
The synergy with Res Agraria will further enhance field experimentation and monitoring services, supporting the validation, development, and demonstration of new agricultural products.
In recent years, AGROLAB-TECH has gained specialized expertise in large-scale adulticide control systems, employing sexual confusion devices and insecticide-activated attractant baits. It is also distinguished for its planning and management of pest monitoring systems, in collaboration with institutions, associations, producer organizations, consortia, and technical research groups.
To facilitate the dissemination of collected data, AGROLAB-TECH has developed CLORISYS, a free app available on Play Store and Apple Store. The app provides real-time updates on the presence of major crop pests in southern regions, based on field surveys and laboratory analyses conducted by the AGROLAB-TECH team.
AGROLAB-TECH’s scientific approach and the significance of its experimental data are frequently featured in publications in leading national agricultural journals, such as L’Informatore Agrario, Terra e Vita, Fruit Journal, Uva da Tavola.com, as well as presentations at national conferences, including the Phytopathological Days.
A new journey begins.
